Welcome to Square Deal Mattress’ online showroom! Here you can explore each one of the mattress models we produce and decide which one could be right for you. All of the beds are made by hand in our Chico factory. Each model is made-to-order in your required size which ensures the highest standard of construction integrity on delivery. We also keep a limited stock for quick-delivery orders. Once you select a mattress, it can be built and ready to deliver in just 3-5 days.
Our local delivery area spans from Sacramento to the Oregon border, along Interstate 5, Highway 99, and their surrounding communities. Standard delivery hours are 9am-4pm Monday – Friday. Haul-away of your old mattress and boxspring is included at no extra charge! Customer pick-ups from the Factory are available Monday-Friday 8:30am – 4 pm, or Saturdays 10am – 4pm.
If you live outside this range, we can schedule a special delivery or freight shipment. Square Deal does not sell innerspring mattresses through our online shop because their weight and design prevents them from being mailed conveniently. If you are interested in purchasing a mattress remotely or having one shipped, please contact us! We can send them all over North America with a little arrangement.
We sell Adjustable Bed Bases and compatible mattresses. Building our beds from the spring up allows us to add the required flexibility to any innersprings. While we do recommend our natural latex and combination foam mattresses for the best performance, we can make any of our classic mattresses adjustable. This includes split Eastern King or California King beds for dual bases.

Square Deal guarantees the quality of your mattress. Under warranty terms of up to 15 years we will repair or replace damage as a result of spring failures or improper construction. While the need to make a warranty claim is rare, many customers take advantage of the included Lifetime Comfort Services. Your bed can be brought into the factory for a tune-up, padding exchange, pillowtop adjustment and more for as long as you own the mattress. This service is discounted if your bed is still under warranty, and even beyond those years often costs less than a new mattress. For more information please see our full warranty terms.

What You Need to Know About Adjustable Bed Bases and Mattresses

An adjustable bed base allows you to raise and lower both the head and leg sections of your mattress independently to achieve truly custom comfort. Upgraded models offer additional features like pre-programmed positions, massage, and position saving. Elevating your head during sleep can relieve issues like snoring, acid reflux, and upper back pain. Raising the feet can relieve lower back pain, knee pain, and facilitates healing blood flow. Adjustable beds are ideal for many lifestyles whether you are looking to promote wellness, accommodate mobility limitations, or love to relax in bed while enjoying your favorite media.
To get the best performance out of your adjustable bed base we recommend pairing it with a non-innerspring mattress, such a 100% natural latex, memory foam, or hybrid construction. The lack of a central innerspring means that your bed will be able to react to all the subtle adjustments you make without buckling or an excessive bunching of material at the joints. Square Deal is capable of removing the rigid edgewire on any of our innerspring mattresses to make them adjustable base compatible. This gives customers the combined benefit of adjusting their sleep angle and the familiar comfort of contouring springs. However, they tend to be less precise in their adjustments and will not perform as well as the non-innerspring beds at steep angles.
When considering the adjustable base, it is important to understand the effects it will have on your bed long-term. Depending on how frequently you adjust the bed and the steepness of incline you prefer, the mattress may eventually form a visible crease. Adjustable mattresses are made without edgewires – meaning the side of the bed will be less supportive, crushing down further than average when you sit on the edge. These factors may cause the bed to wear faster than its expected warranty, and such wear is not covered by most mattress warranties. The ability to flip your Square Deal Adjustable Mattress will help you get the most even wear possible, and our Lifetime Comfort Services can be used to mitigate those creasing issues when they occur. For many who choose an adjustable bed base, the benefits of a custom position are worth the trade-off of a shorter mattress life.
